Creature Design Project

This creature has thin, quil-like feathers along its body to catch ice and snow. It uses the excess snow to develop a rigid spine to protect from larger predators. Its habitat is a harsh frozen landscape.

From my concept art class. We were tasked with creating a creature inspired from other animals! I think mine got out of hand a bit haha.
